Actress Kim So Eun has revealed what she has been up to lately via Cyworld.

The actress uploaded a few pictures from the past 21 days and the pictures revealed that she had became a more mature and soft kind of woman.

Netizens complimented the actress by saying things like, "She isn't the "Boys Over Flowers" character young Miss Ga Eul anymore. She truly matured and has become a lady," and, "I was thinking that she was good at acting. I really want to see her participate in new productions already."

For those who may not know who Kim So Eun is, she has been a supporting actress in previous dramas like Boys Over Flowers and The Man Who Can't Get Married. Kim So Eun also recently filmed for a coffee brand CF along with Jang Geun Suk.

Netizens Call Jang Geun Suk “Skeleton Boy”

As many You're Beautiful fans know, Jang Geun Suk has been revealing a new side of himself after taking on the role of Hwang Tae Kyung, the cool and charismatic leader of the fictional band A.N.JELL, with his unique hairstyle and an even more unique fashion sense . However, his climb to faux-fame, so to speak, was not an easy one since he had to shed 7 kilograms (which is around 15 pounds) for the role. Check out the before-and-afters below:



As you can see, Jang lost a bit of weight in his face and neckline, as well as his arms. It seems Korean netizens, being as attentive and stalkerish as always, have not failed to realize this as well, since they have described him to be a "skeleton-esque minam (good-looking male)," "skull minam" and "bone-deep minam."

In response to this insight, Jang has said, "I felt that I needed to lose these 7 kilograms to portray Tae Kyung better. I wasn't the type to enjoy maintaining an overly skinny body, but I've been enjoying wearing loose shirts nowadays. Also, this weight loss was for my role so this was something I had to do as an actor."

He also added, "Tae Kyung is a musical guy but he's more of a reason-centric guy rather than an emotion-centric one, and is the type to be more calculating toward his actions. A guy like that is obviously a guy who takes care of his appearance with extra care, so I wanted to portray him like that. And in order to portray the characteristics of such an artist, I lost 7 kilograms for the role."

Well, I must admit that Jang's lost some weight, but I don't think he looks manorexic or unhealthy. And he's done such a fantastic job portraying Hwang Tae Kyung, wouldn't you agree?

At any rate, you can tune into the season finale of You're Beautiful, which is set to air on Wednesday and Thursday night. (Oh good God, why must it end?!)

A.N.JELL in Japan

Earlier in the month, we reported that A.N.JELL from SBS's teeny-bopper drama, "You're Beautiful" would be heading to Japan. Well, they arrived in Okinawa, Japan a few days ago and held some activities in Japan.

They held a fan meeting event where they signed autographs for the fans. They also asked 300 fans from the audience to participate as extras and filmed a autograph scene for "You're Beautiful."

Who created the scandal between Sunny and Sungmin?

Remember the scandal about SNSD's Sunny and Super Junior's Sungmin? Sungmin clarified a couple of times that he was just good friends with Sunny, but we never got to hear Sunny's explanations. Well, she finally explained her side of the story!

On yesterday's broadcast of KBS Star Golden Bell, the question "Have you ever had a embarrassing scandal" was asked. In response, Sunny brought up her scandal with Sungmin, who was also on the show. Sunny explained, "The reason the scandal was created was because of the Super Junior oppas. I was hosting a radio program with Sungmin and the Super Junior sunbaenims told me that they would help make our program become a hit by fabricating a scandal, but the scandal didn't break out until our we left the program."

During the show, Sunny and Sungmin also expressed that the two don't look at each other as stars. Sungmin commented, "I have seen her face with eye mucus after practices so many times that she doesn't look like a star to me." To this Sunny fired back, "But his feet stink. ... I remember Sungmin was sitting down indoors and his feet smelled like the odors you smell when the sewer caps are opened."

I guess we now know who is to blame for the scandal!

Jaejoong vs. T.O.P., who had the best kiss scene?

TVXQ's Jaejoong and Big Bang's T.O.P., who are known to be friends in real life, duke it out with their kiss scenes in their upcoming movies. Since these pretty boys are more known for their idol image, it'll be interesting to see the acting skills of the two.

T.O.P.'s movie, 19 is a story of three 19-year-olds that share a triangle love relationship. T.O.P.'s character and Heo Yi Jae's character are dating in the movie, and they start their relationship with a kiss that will get fan girls go crazy. In Heaven's Postman, Jaejoong is a messenger for people who want to converse with people in heaven. Han Hyo Joo's character approaches Jaejoong's character in order to communicate with her old lover who passed earlier, but instead falls in love with Jaejoong's character.

The two works are being hotly discussed, as they will both be aired on the same date - November 11th. Stay tuned on allkpop for more info!

Why was UEE cast for You’re Beautiful?

The idol drama "You're Beautiful" is very popular these days with a large variety of viewers. Out of the entire cast, the most hated character is probably Yoo He Yi played by After School's UEE. He Yi is a big celebrity who bothers main character Go Mi Nam about her hidden secret. Producer Hong Sung Chang revealed the reason for why UEE was cast to play the role of this hated character.

Producer Hong said:

"Many celebrities came to audition for the part of He Yi. When UEE was auditioning, without any warning, we told her to 'start crying' and she started to drop huge tears within seconds so I decided I would cast her right on the spot. I think I made a good choice the more I see UEE's acting."

Producer Hong also went on to compliment the entire cast on their performances and revealed a fun story. Because the entire cast are in their 20's, they are asked for autographs frequently from the staff members for their friends and relatives. So basically, during their free time, the actors are busy signing autographs.

"You're Beautiful" is definitely a successful drama and the cast is superb. UEE makes me hate her character so she is doing a great job, don't you agree?

Park Bom’s solo debut performance on Inkigayo

To the delight of many fans, Park Bom has started her very own solo career, releasing her first solo single and MV of You and I, which has been dominating music charts across Korea. A couple of days ago, we confirmed about her solo-debut stage on SBS Inkigayo. She finally performed today, as she had a special choreography to go along with her song. Although she isn't performing with her fellow 2NE1 members, she definitely rocked the stage... check it out!

Dara was the first 2NE1 member to release a solo single, but Park Bom is the first to have a solo performance! What did you think of this stage?

SHINee Ring Ding Dongs with Leeteuk and captures Mutizen

With a Sephiroth-inspired music video and a hot cameo this week, it's no surprise that SHINee is ringing its way up the charts and dominating music shows. Although hot contenders BEAST and MBLAQ have been gaining substantial followings, they couldn't beat out their senior male group on Inkigayo. Congrats to SHINee for their second Mutizen with Ring Ding Dong!




After Jonghyun reportedly fully recovered from swine flu, many people were looking forward to the return to normal stages with the original five members, and were fully dismayed upon the discovery that Onew had fallen victim to the swine flu trend as well. Instead of performing as an Onew-less quartet, the remaining boys swapped their leader for Super Junior's main man Leeteuk. Check out the performance below:



The SuJu leader made his appearance during the latter half of the performance, showing some SM family love for his junior idols. Hottests tell JYP that he’s the only one “Tired of Waiting”

Looks like Hottests are still at it! This time, using the title of 2PM's recently released track "Tired of Waiting," these dedicated fans sent a message to JYP expressing their feelings surrounding the issue.

Hottests hung a long poster outside of the building that read:

"The only one tired of waiting is Park Jin Young ONLY YOU!"

Why is HyunA so sad?

Nobody knows as of yet, but HyunA of 4minute definitely had tears in her eyes for this week's performance of "What A Girl Wants" on Music Core.

The fierce girl wipes away a tear at 0:13 and is starry eyed for the whole song. Her rapping wasn't as intense as her other performances and her usual stellar dancing looked dull and tired.

SHINee’s Onew gets Swine Flu

The curse of the swine flu seems to have struck SHINee. Having only just reported hours earlier that Jonghyun had recovered fully from swine flu, it was reported now that SHINee's leader, Onew has also been hit by swine flu.

The announcement came at around 6pm on 7th November after Onew had developed a gentle, mild fever last night. He was sent to the hospital today and tests have shown that he has contracted swine flu. Onew is now back home resting.

The other three SHINee members, Key, Minho and Taemin were also tested, just to be on the safe side, but fortunately for them, neither of them have shown any signs of the illness.

SHINee are scheduled to perform at Inkigayo on 8th November. So despite welcoming Jonghyun back from illness, SHINee will perform as a 4-member group in Onew's absence.

SHINee’s Jonghyun is fully recovered

During the four days of Jonghyun's absence due to his diagnosis of swine flu, the fans had to suffer the unbearable emptiness on the stage. Although his spot was filled with Super Junior's Yesung, SHINee did not "shine" as brightly as when they were together. But no worries now! It seems like Jonghyun is finally free from the virus. It has been reported that Jonghyun is now fully recovered from the flu, but not quite to return back to his activities yet.

SM Entertainment stated,

"Jonghyun is fully recovered from the swine flu. However, his physical condition is still not the best, so we will have to see."

Jonghyun showed his strong desire to return on stage as well. Since he could not face the members himself because of the airborne H1N1 virus, he filmed a word of encouragement for his members and called each one of them before the performance. He also delivered a heartfelt apology for not being able to be with them. Now, that's what I call friendship!

Meanwhile, SHINee was recently triple-crowned for their song, Ring Ding Dong for not only on SBS Inkigayo and KBS Music Bank, but also on this month's Mnet's M! Countdown. Hope to see you soon, Jonghyun!

F.T Triple debuts with “Love Letter” on Music Core

Having made their debuts on M! Countdown and Music Bank last week, the F.T Triple boys continued their promotions with their debut stage on Music Core on 7th November.

With a solid ballad song, it's a pity that the boys aren't doing quite as well in the face of intense competition from others. But the absence of their lead singer Lee Hongki does help in helping the trio of Choi Jong Hoon on piano, Choi Minhwan on drums, and Lee Jae Jin on guitar/vocals to gain some limelight, because the boys are really doing just fine without their other maknae and front man.

U-Kiss’s Music Bank Comeback

After yesterday's autotune-tastic performance, the brand new seven-member group U-Kiss takes the stage for another comeback performance on Music Bank!

The boys once again showed off their more masculine and mature sides on screen with their comeback single Man Man Ha Ni (만만하니); with ecstatic cheers in the background, fangirls are loving it! As refreshing as it is to see these boys and their new image, it would have been nice to see a different concept from the group. The gorgeous brown-eyed foursome offered onlookers a FAN-tastic performance on yesterday's M! Countdown and continue to hypnotize their fans with today's follow up performance of Sign on Music Bank.

SHINee performs Ring Ding Dong with SuJu’s Yesung

2AM Jokwon is a ghost

2AM's Jokwon, who recently was reported to be close to recovery from swine flu (H1N1), revealed a picture of himself with a reduced weight.As you can see in the picture, his face has lost some weight as he looks tired and sick. He posted this picture through his minihompy on October 31st, just a few days after being confirmed with swine flu. One related source of Jokwon stated that his condition has gotten better due to eating good foods and having lots of rest. It is told that Jokwon himself even stated that he is feeling great as he said, "My body condition is so great. Can I start my activities again?" But because his full recovery results didn't come out yet, he is still currently waiting.Best of luck to Jo Kwon for a speedy recovery!

Super Junior is trending and SJ-M Blue Tomorrow fancam preview

Many of you know that November 6th, 2005 was the day in which Super Junior 05 first debuted on SBS Inkigayo performing TWINS (Knock Out). It's November 6th in Korea and to celebrate this 4th anniversary of sorts, ELF's along with help from Hottests, VIP's, Cassies, and others made #superjunior become a trending topic on twitter. Not only that, they're trying to support Kangin as well by having #standbykangin as a trending topic. This is pretty cool and only comes shortly after having Big Bang member T.O.P. trend on twitter. Jaebeom’s first interview?

Style recently posted a photo shoot preview video featuring the boys of 2PM and the cast of You're Beautiful. However, this didn't catch my attention... rather the message on the top left of the video saying: "Jaebeom's leave from 2PM, first Interview upon resuming activities. Saturday Afternoon November 7th at 3, Wednesday Night November 11th at 11."Now that begs the question, is this interview with just the six 2PM members or have they spoken with Jaebeom? Well, we'll have to wait and see until it airs. Stay tuned for more developments on this as we get more news in the coming days.
